Colorado Preschool Program (CPP)
Every child deserves to have access to a high quality early leanring environment in order to develop a fou​ndation for success in school and in life. We don't want the cost of preschool to deter you from enrolling your child. The SSD Preschool Program is committed to working with families to find the perfect learning spot to ignite your child’s sense of discovery and also fit your family’s needs.
CPP funds children who are determined to have risk factors that may cause a child to not be ready for kindergarten. Children who are four years old can qualify based on one eligibility factor. Children who are three years old can qualify if they have three eligibility factors. Factors include: income (qualifying for the free or reduced lunch program), education level of the family, need for language development (including English-langua​​ge support for non-native speakers), unintentional unemployment, social services, teen parent, frequent relocations, and more.
For eligible families, CPP makes it possible for young learners to attend preschool either at no cost or at a reduced cost. This state-funded program could be the perfect way for you to give your child the head start they deserve in school.
